Venezuela Stunns Brazil With 2-0 Win

Ronald VargasVenezuela stunned Brazil today with 2-0 victory. Both the goals were socred in the 1st half. This is Venezuela's first ever win against Five-times world champions.
Ciancarlo Maldonado sored the opening in the 5th minute and Ronald Vargas scored the second just before the breather. This is was the 18th meeting between the two sides and Brazil have won all the 17 of them with an average of 4 goals per match.
Brazil strikers Pato, Adriano and Robinho were lacklusture against Venezuela, who defended well against the giants.

Although a friendly encounter, this event was a special moment in Venezuelan football history. Coach Cesar Farias is in charge for the team for just 6 months.

Great performance. Good to see the underdogs taking it to the big sides. Brazil aint as good as they used to be. TIme for a new generation of footballer. Time for Spain to shine
