Leigh East Rugby Club Pulled Down

A DERELICT rugby club is to be demolished after it was badly damaged by arsonists.

The former Leigh East rugby club, just off Atherleigh Way in Leigh, was targeted on Friday evening by arsonists.

Firefighters spent several hours at the scene.

advertisementIt has been torched dozens of times in the last few months and it is expected it will be pulled down in the next few days.

Leigh East rugby club have moved to to site of the new Leigh Sports Village .
