World Cup 2010: Potugal's Nani Out of WC

Manchester United winger Nani has been ruled out of Portugal's World Cup campaign with a shoulder injury.

A report by national team medical staff stated that the injury would not recover sufficiently to enable the 23 year-old to play in South Africa.

Nani, who has scored seven goals in 36 appearances for Portugal, will be replaced by Ruben Amorim, the uncapped Benfica midfielder.
