Euro 2008: Polish Captain Maciej Zurawski Ends His Euro 2008

Polish captain Maciej Zurawski is sure to miss the next two league games of Poland and worst is if the Poles qualify for the 2nd round, he could miss the whole Euro 2008. He got a thigh injury in Sunday's 0-2 defeat against the Germans.

Poland's tem doctor Jerzy Grzywocz said that Zurawski has strained quads and some bleeding so he may be unavailable for the rest of the tournament.

The 31 yearl old Zurawski is the third Pole to be sidelined due to injury after Jakub Blaszczykowski and reserve goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak. Mariusz Lewandowski also picked up an ankle knock against the Germans, but the team doctor siad that Mariusz will be ready for the next games in Euro 2008.
