Adelaide United FC Signs Brazilian Cristiano

27 year old Brazilian Cristiano, is the fourth foriegn recruit for Hyundai A-League club Adelaide United FC. The other three foreigners are also from Brazil, Diego, Alemao and Casio.

Cristiano comes to Adelaide United FC with 10 year's experience playing in Holland and a good reputation of scoring goals. Cristiano will definitely add zeal to the striking force of the club after the departure of Nathan Burns and Bruce Djite.

Cristiano played for Dutch club Willem II for the 2007-08 season. Adelaide United FC has also signed in Scott Jamienson.(Jamienson's involvement with Adelaide United FC has already been published in this blog).

Bolton's Jamienson Way To Adelaide United FC

Bolton Wanderers, 19 year old Jamienson is all set to join Adelaide United FC. Australian born, Jamienson has spent the past three years with the English Club, Bolton Wanderes.

He has made only four appearances for Bolton's first team during the club's pre-season campaigns in 2006-07 and 2007-08. Jamienson has the experience to play along side Anelka and Hadji Diouf. Most of the time, he was in the reserves and academy sides.

Jamienson was trialling with Scottish club Dundee United, but preferred to be in the first playing eleven and chose Hyundai A-League club Adelaide United FC.

Adelaide United FC starts their pre-season campaign from June 23.
