Euro 2008: Portugal Feels "Do as I say, not as I do".

It has been reported that the Portugal squad has revolted aginst their coach Luiz Felipe Scolari accusing him as a hypocrite.

Scolari was first reluctant to announce his involvement with Chelsea as he thought that it ruin Portugal's campaign in Euro 2008.

But the Portuguese players are supposedly disgruntled about the fact that after saying not to announce anyone's club future until Euro 2008, the coach himself revealed his new position with Chelsea.

“Some of the players feel betrayed by Scolari’s announcement,” an insider said in The Sun. “They feel it was a case of ‘Do as I say, not as I do’.

Scolari Way to Chelsea For £6.25 Million?

ScolariLuiz Felipe Scolari has been named the Chelsea football club manager and he will paid £6.25m-a-season over the next three years in what is one of the biggest deals ever agreed in world football.

Even so Scolari has not yet signed a contract. His negotiations are being handled by the agent Jorge Mendes, who has developed into one of the most powerful men in football and who, ironically, also represents Jose Mourinho who was sacked by Chelsea last year.
